If you haven’t heard of Fork Food Lab, you should make sure you check them out.  Fork Food Lab based in Portland Maine that is a community kitchen for food  makers, food experts and most of all my favorite food lovers. Fork Food lab Located in Portland’s West Bayside neighborhood. The lab also has  “kitchen equipment, ample storage, and staff on site for cleaning, Fork allows our food maker “members” to focus on their product with less administrative strain.”

Claire and Eric are an adorable husband wife team, like super adorable. These love birds are  rocking the entrepreneur scene here in Portland and beyond. Eric holds down the fort at Fork Food Lab, while Claire still has a hand in it.

Claire travels the country with her own company but also is the creator of Ladies Get Paid, which is an organization that “Ladies Get Paid helps women rise up at work. We host town halls to share our challenges and workshops to solve them”  Her slogan “CHANGING THE WORLD, ONE RAISE AT A TIME.” guides her business goals for herself and her lady tribe.

I mean who doesn’t love a couple who empowers foodies and women? I know I do! We had a wonderful afternoon photographing them in Fork Food Lab, the light and industrial vibe was super fun to work in. We were asked by Minimums to do a photo shoot of their prized possessions in their life. This site features lots of interesting people and all of their goodies. I have no clue how they found me, but was jazzed to photograph this couple becuase I love photographing small businesses. This is a quick preview of my afternoon with them. I learned a lot from the two of them, from Eric’s snowboard accident and how thrifty Claire is for designer goods.   Thanks for spending the afternoon with me.
