Mia & Pat’s Autumn Urban Wedding at O’ Maine Studio | Portland, Maine Wedding Photographer

I am so excited to share Mia and Patrick’s beautiful wedding that was held at O’ Maine Studio in Portland Maine. Their wedding has roughly been 2 years in the making. It was so exciting to see how everything unfolded! The colors, warmth of gold tones, candles and colors of their decor was stunning against the industrial vibe of O’ Maine studio. Their day was truly about the two of them shared with their loved ones. Nothing was rushed, the day was filled with love, laugher, good food, music and joy. The camper was a hit with the guests! One of my favorite moments of the day was the speeches. I also loved LOVED LOVED their cake topper which was a replica of the couple with their two french bulldogs! Thank you so much for asking me to capture your picture perfect day.

Love and Joy

Siobhan

  1. Pat: Exiting to the back garden with Mia following the recessional. We each had a custom drink waiting for us, and we had a nice quiet moment to catch our breath!

Mia: I have a couple – getting ready with my bridesmaids, having my mom see me in my dress and taking pictures, then having my dad see me in my dress and he didn’t say anything for the longest time…he just stood there looking so happy and surprised! My most favorite moment would be stopping right before I walked out with my dad and seeing Pat for the first time.  My cousin told me to stop and take it all in before we walked out and down the aisle.  I did and my eyes looked right at Pat and it was just perfect.

  2. Online!
  3. Don’t let little things snowball into something bigger. And do your research on your vendors. Read reviews, figure out who your dream team is and hire them! It will make your day that much better!
  4. I wish we could have slowed time! We wished we could have spent more time in the photo camper (it was SUCH a huge hit!) and try more of our food we worked so hard to pick out…and have another signature cocktail. It flies by. Enjoy every second!
  5. We got engaged in the parking lot of Local 188 where we had our first kiss. In his speech, Pat’s best man joked he proposed behind a dumpster which we thought was funny! Our dog was with us and it was very sweet!
  6. Picking music – we tried to keep it unique and pick songs that were special to us. It was fun to add all of the little details like our cake topper and showcase who we are as a couple. Agreeing on food choices was stressful, but our caterer was a dream!
  7. We had a blast working with our dream team of vendors. The day felt like it represented us as a couple and celebrated our relationship. Highly reccomend adding the photo camper! Our guests LOVED it and we have so many fun photos from it!
  8. We are…eventually! We decided to wait and plan it. Still in the early stages…somewhere tropical and fun!
  9. What a dream team! Siobhan just got me right from the start and she makes you feel like you have known her your whole life. Geoff was such a rockstar running the photo camper! They are the best!
