I have always looked up to mothers of all kinds, mothers of beautiful children,  a mother to others,  a mother to nature, a mother to animals , and I’m sure there are other types of mothers out there I’m not listing. With that said, since I have become a mother my self, I realized how little mothers are in the photos besides the mommy selfies. Yes I do this all of the time too.  I think it is so important for us to document moms in the pictures, not only for our selves but for the children years down the road.

I love photos of me with my mom and grandmothers. I will say all 3 ladies were camera shy (my self included) but I cherish these photos. This year we are shaking things up and having the mommy and me mini session in the studio and with rain in the forecast it was the right call!

Thank you so much Hannah and Robin for being my models for this mini session. I had a wonderful time capturing both of you with your children and grandchildren. I had a wonderful time capturing so many smiles, fun dance moves and yes some tears for the pride mothers share in regards to their children big and small. I’m so looking forward to Sunday and seeing some old and new faces! Cheers to all of you mothers.
