It was a beautiful sunny day mid-October to celebrate the marriage of Abbey and Robby on the ocean side of The Stage Neck Inn. There were barely any clouds in the sky and warm sun for their outdoor ceremony overlooking the Atlantic ocean of York, Maine.  Some of the highlights were the first look, where Robby was smiling ear to ear, the heartfelt vows,  the bubbles at the ceremony, the photo booth, speeches specifically Robby’s father’s speech and Abbey’s brother’s speech wearing a wig pretending to be the sister Abbey always wished she had, good food and lots of dancing.  I loved the cake toppers and Abbey’s love for Manatees. Wishing you the best for years to come. Thank you for asking me to capture your beautiful day!!! You both love each other so much and it was beautiful to witness that.

1. What was your favorite moment/ memory of your wedding day?

   the first look was magical! We also loved the bridal party photos on the beach. Putting on the foul weather gear was fun, despite Abbey’s feet getting wet. Dancing with each other and family/friends really completed the night! We could have danced all night long.

2. How did you guys meet?

   At trampoline dodgeball, outing organized by mutual friends.

3. Any word of advice/ wisdom for couples?

   Try to enjoy the planning process regardless of how stressful it can be because it all goes by so fast. Try to be present in the moment day of and take many moments to just take it all in (Siobhan is good with helping with this!).

4. If you could redo 1 thing what would it be?

   Extend the DJ time and keep the party going! Take the bubbles out of the amazon box haha

5. Engagement Story?

   Robby took Abbey on a surprise trip to Block Island for their anniversary. He proposed on the Old Harbor jetty at sunset, and Abbey happily said yes between sobs of joy.

6. Favorite part of wedding planning? Most stressful part of wedding planning?

   Favorite: Trips to maine to find the venue. Planning little details and making succulent pumpkins together. Stressful: timing of everything, transporting and packing and unpacking all the decorations etc.

7. any other fun details you want to share?

   Etsy, Michaels, Amazon, and Trader Joe’s were life savers when it came to decorations!

8. Are you going on a honeymoon? If so tell us!!! It gives couples ideas on where to go!

   Yes! In a couple weeks! Bora Bora and New Zealand.

9. What was one of your favorite things working with the Maine Tinker team?

   Their energy! Siobhan is so kind and also totally understood what we were looking for. She had so many great ideas and was open to our personal touches/ideas too! The photo booth was amazing and they even made a backdrop for us on special request!
